LaShae is the pride and joy of Maid-N-Meadow's mentor, Terry Huff. His original recipe, using Kentucky's own Smithberry wine, his dazzled cheese lovers for years. Now, we at Maid-N-Meadows are proud to offer LaShae and continue the legacy of fine cheesemaking that Terry began.
LaShae is as visually appealing as it is delicious with its purple rind and creamy yellow center. It's complex flavors harken back to the wine it is customarily bathed in during it's 120 day aging period. Beautiful and delicious on charcuterie platters or eaten with crackers, this cheese is sure to please.
